I will be running an Introduction to Photography course at Hurds Hill in Langport, Somerset on May 15th this year.
During the one day course I will recovering the following topics:
- A brief talk through of the camera, parts and accessories
- Exploring the different shooting modes of your camera
- Shutter Speeds
- Apertures
- ISO
- Manual Control
- Exposures and how to read the Histogram
- Composition and the Rule of Thirds
- Creative Photography with Long Exposures
The day will be divided into two parts; after a morning of theory there will be a break to enjoy a tasty light buffet lunch.
After lunch, you will have the chance to put your new knowledge into practice with a walk around our beautiful gardens for subject matter.
Then back to the classroom for some useful feedback on everyone’s photographs.
